Founded in Staffordshire, England in 1924, Belstaff is now under the ownership of keen Italian motorcyclist Franco Malenotti, son of Italy's most famous film producer. Belstaff began manufacturing eyewear for the aviation industry in 1930 and it is with strong reference to this heritage that Belstaff sunglasses were introduced in 2006.

Retro styling and a variety of materials combined with a wealth of knowledge and technique have once again propelled Belstaff into the spotlight: Belstaff sunglasses are to be found sitting alongside Belstaff leather goods (and in particular motorcycle jackets) in a plethora of current lifestyle magazines.
