Based on styles from the Moscot family archives from the 1930s to the 1960s, the Moscot Originals sunglass range is proper slice of old school New York. The Moscot story is an epitome of Americana, beginning with Hyman Moscot arriving in the USA via Ellis Island in 1899 and later pushing a cart selling ready-made spectacles in Manhattan's Lower East Side - the beginnings of the family firm.
The Moscot Originals collection has been hugely successful since its launch in the USA in 2003, and these retro sunglasses have found their way onto many a famous face. Iris Optical introduced the Moscot Originals sunglass collection in January 2011. For customers in the UK, these frames are stocked in our Richmond TW9 store.
