We will remain open and will continue offering eye examinations during lockdown.
As per government policy, you can leave your home to access medical services, including eye care.
The government has announced that face coverings will be compulsory in shops from July 24th.
All three of our stores are open.
Since each of our stores is in a secondary location (lower overheads allow us to keep our prices down!), we get lower footfall than most high street opticians - meaning social distancing is not a problem. You may not have the store to yourself, but there are rarely more than a few customers at once.
We have also increased the length of eye tests to 30 minutes to allow us to further reduce the amount of customers in our stores at once.
Frames will be cleaned before and after being handed to you and all equipment is cleaned in between customers.
As part of our commitment to the safety of both staff and patients, our optometrists will be wearing face masks and gloves during your consultation. Our equipment will have breath shields where required and all surfaces will be disinfected between patients as per infection control guidelines.
