Founded in 1937 by Bausch & Lomb, Ray-Ban remains one of the world's most iconic eyewear brands 70 years later. After initally manufacturing sunglasses on commission from the United States Air Force, Ray-Ban has created two of the most imitated sunglass models on the planet: the Aviator (think Tom Cruise in Top Gun) and Wayfarer (think Tom Cruise in Risky Business).

The 2003 birth of the Ray-Ban Ophthalmic range has enabled the brand to expand into the non-sunglass eyewear market. The Ray-Ban glasses collection combines classic shapes with more fashion-forward, modern styles and more feminine designs, all emphasizing quality, function and comfort.
