Will my optician give me a copy of my contact lens prescription?

Yes. Your optician is obliged to give you a copy of your contact lens prescription after each consultation in accordance with the 1989 Opticians Act: if you didn't get one, or have lost it, you can ask for a copy to be sent to you.

Please remember to ask specifically for your contact lens prescription - this is different to a standard prescription for spectacles.
